2009 Annual Reverse Trade Show a Great Success!

On November 4, 2009, we had our second annual Reverse Vendor Trade Show "Bridging the Gap Between Government and Business" sponsored by the Copper Chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
This full day function was an opportunity for businesses to meet, greet and connect with governmental purchasing professionals from various Southern Arizona Governmental Agencies. The full day event was a change from the first Reverse Vendor Trade Show allowing for more training opportunities and opportunity to network with the various governmental entities represented. The Copper Chapter members included representatives from the following agencies: Amphitheater Public Schools, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and Blind, Catalina Foothills School District, City of Sierra Vista, City of Tucson, Cochise County, Marana Unified School District, Northwest Fire/Rescue District, Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Pima Community College, Pima County, Santa Cruz County, Sun Tran, Sunnyside School District, Superior Court in Pima County, Town of Marana, Town of Oro Valley, Tucson International Airport Authority, Tucson Unified School District, University of Arizona and Vail School District.
